Re: OPINIONS ON 1ST DANCE SONG
If you guys both like the song, who cares! If it doesn't bother you, it shouldn't bother her LOL. I think it's fine.
I agree with her but honestly its your song and you pick it....i am also not one to pick songs that are popular and on the radio all the time but maybe i can suggest some....
i have to say i agree with your sis in law. it's almost like bad luck

If you really 2 love the song, then go for it!! Fh and I are thinking of using the 98 degrees song 'My Everything' Nick Lachey sings it and didnt he really sing it about Jessica? lol It was like OUR SONG- so we are thinking of using it... I wouldnt worry about it, if its YOUR SONG

I wouldn't worry about it. No matter what song you pick - the chances are that some other person used it as a wedding song and are no longer together. Doesn't mean it will be bad luck. For me what is most important is the message that the song brings. Don't sweat it!

Re: OPINIONS ON 1ST DANCE SONG
If we actually knew the histories of every song and their writers and/or performers there would probably be NONE left to choose from. .. the song is what you make of it. . if you love it, that's all that matters! I mean there are old classics from drug abusers, people who killed themselves, got divorced, never married. . it's art not life but that's JMO

Re: OPINIONS ON 1ST DANCE SONG
Nah who cares? I love that song.
It wasn't even their wedding song it was just the song they used for the intro to their show.
Their song was 'Crazy Love' and Neil McCoy sang it at their wedding. And I considered using that for a while lol
