Updates from my week from hell.....
So last week as all of you know I had the absolute week from hell, where one thing after another was going completely wrong, and most were not minor issues, either. So here's an update, if you haven't been keeping track.
1. Fights with my brother & SIL over their photographer not giving them their albums after 2 1/2 years and my posting about it - RESOLVED. We settled our differences last Thursday, and then this past Wednesday they finally got their albums and they are happy with them.
2. My mother being sick with cancer on top of other existing health problems - STILL UNKNOWN. She has to go through tests upon tests and we will pray for the best as she has already fought and won against lymphoma.
3. The not hearing from my MOH and not having a shower dilemma - RESOLVED. I spoke to my MOH finally this week and things are just now starting to be planned. I just have to send her some information.
4. The gown being butchered by either the salon or the designer dilemma - ON THE BACKBURNER FOR NOW. I contacted the media this week, but have yet to hear anything. In the meantime, I don't want to hold up Phyllis from working on my dress, and she thinks she can fix all of the problems they made. Plus she can add the off the shoulder sleeves I want, so for now I am happy. I will fight that battle when I get the opportunity, but TRUST ME it is nowhere near forgotten. I am disputing the charges with my credit card company right now at the moment.
My florist standing me up - PENDING - I have to talk to George tomorrow because I'm not happy at the moment. The sample was kind of 'blah' to me, and he's only been there once out of the 4 times I've gone there. It;s kind of disappointing. I'm waiting to hear back from Laurie from LA Blossom for some adjustments I want to make before I go ahead and make the change.
So for now, I am just plowing forward with things that need to be done and trying to stay positive....and once again I want to thank you all for your prayers for my mom and for letting me vent last week, and for your continued support and advice.![]()
