Updos & veils

Hi,
I'm the mother of the bride and I was just wondering. If any of you are wearing your hair in an updo, how are you having your veil? My daughter wants a blusher walking down the aisle. Did you have your veil in front of your updo or in back? Did you have a removeable blusher? She wants to have a veil in back of her curls which she would wear throughout the reception. Any pictures would be helpful. Thanks. She doesn't want her updo hidden by the veil if possible.

I had my veil 'in' my updo. I would think that you would not be able to wear the veil under the updo. If your daughter wants to wear a blusher, she probably has to wear it on top of her updo. I had a blusher/elbow length veil that I wore all night and a detachable catherdral veil that I wore walking down the aisle...just another idea.

I had an updo with the veil below it. I pulled the blusher over the top for walking down the aisle- no problems. I don't think I have a picture of the blusher down, but you can see it under my updo if you CLICK HERE.
