What color uplighting are you girls having? One color all night - changing it up? I don't want anything too extreme, but I can't decide. Where can you find pictures of uplit ballrooms?

Re: uplighting . . .
I would search 'uplighting' in the Brides Review section and maybe pictures of the bride's weddings will come up!
My hall, Floral Terrace, has built in uplighting in the walls so I am soooo excited. We are going to keep it pink the entire night. I LOVE the way a room looks when it glows in one color. Some people have suggested that I change it up according to what is going on, ie: blue when it's dinnertime and red when it's dancing time, etc. so that is an option you can consider as well!

I wish I could find pictures of the Inn with uplighting. The decor is so neutral, I think you can really do anything in there. Blue looks nice as does pink. I definitely want a dramatic effect when our guests first walk in.

The Skylight roon doesn't have uplighting built in. I'm going to look into the pricing with florists but I want green uplighting if I can afford it!

I wanted pink and ivory but my dj said pink would look bad in my room so i am alternating between those two - when everyone is dancing and partying i will probably change it up with all different colors

The uplighting comes with our room. I didnt quite like it at my cousin's wedding, but then when I saw it at JT I thought it was cool. Not 100% sure we will use it since we have a daytime wedding, but thinking we might for a nice effect. We woud most likely use just a light blue since my colors will be Tiffany Blue.

Re: uplighting . . .
I would love to get uplighting and hope it's not too expensive. The DJ we want to book doesn't do lighting so hopefully maybe a florist I pick will provide it. Anyone know how much uplighting costs and CP spotlights? What color would look good with dark wood walls and white ceiling?

Hey Lana, if you wouldn't mind, can you FM me what company you're using for uplighting and if you don't mind the cost? I'm trying to find out more info about it since we're at the same venue.
