What is it? Is it just like the colored lights that change the wall? is it from the dj?
If we don't do uplighting, does the dj do nothing with lighting???

Uplighting is the lighting that goes up against the walls. If you don't want uplighting the DJ can do regular lighting on the dance floor.

Uplighting can be through your DJ, hall, or florist. It's LED lights that shine on the wall that change color. If you don't want that your DJ can still do intelligent lighting and bogo's. It's the large black things that you see sometimes on ceilings in clubs or on DJ's trusts.

your dj can do a light show...uplights are kinetic lights that go around the rh. they can change colors...or make the room one color. There are lighting companies that specilize in this, but djs also have lighting techs that can do it. We are going through our dj. It was the same price as a lighting company we called.
Our dj is still doing a basic light show. That is different and separate.

yes but not what you would pay if you did uplighting or went through seperate lighting company.

yes. our dj gave us a whole page of lighting options. I think basic spotlights were about 100

THANK YOU!!!!!! I guess we just have to talk to our dj..... our hall actually has uplighting, I just remembered, built in (it's new), but we don't want to spend the pretty penny on that.. I love it, but it's just not in the budget!!!
