I am thinking about doing white uplighting for the reception but have no idea what prices are.
Can anyone let me know an idea of how much this would cost? Also, any Recommendations would be great.... I am using a band who does not provide this, so would need a company willing to provide just lighting...

So far I have checked out Prestige Lighting Events (which has good reviews) and Absolute Entertainment (recommended by my venue).
I have the same problem as you since I am using Code Bleu. :) I'm pretty sure Code Bleu has an uplighting company they recommend, they were at one of their showcases I just can't think of which one!
FM if you want the quotes I got so far...
and PS you have FM from me about something else! :)

Definitely use prestige! It may be 'pricey' but its 100% worth it! I used Prestige Events, Glenn was awesome to work with! I may even be using him for my hubby's surprise 30th :) Shhh.....

my venue only allows Fusion lighting to do uplighting there..i decided against it because it s about $ 2000 i would rather go on our dream honeymoon!

From what I've heard, uplighting is about $50 a station, so it depends on how many lights you have. FH and I are trying to decide if we want it ... we booked our DJ without it but can add it later. The reception is at Bridgeview so we want to go there and see what it looks like with and without the uplighting!

Awesome! it looks great! I spoke to Glenn on the phone a while back, he sounds like a nice guy.
I didn't end up booking uplighting because it was out of our budget (and our RH just got 'uplighting' in the ceiling....woo!) but I would have used Glenn in a heartbeat, without even contacting any other vendors. He was SO nice, honest, friendly....I actually feel bad not using him because I liked him so much!
