Uplighting at Lands End

Uplighting at Lands End

Hey girls,

My fiancé and I are debating whether or not we should get uplighting for our reception at Land's End. If you are not familiar with the facility, the front of the room is a wall of ceiling to floor windows. We love the open, airy feel that the windows give the ballroom, but we are concerned that the uplighting won't have the same effect as it would in more confined or encloses spaces.

Has anyone been to an event at Land's End with uplighting? Do you think it's worth it?

Thanks!

Re: Uplighting at Lands End

Hey hall twin!! I just booked my uplighting for my Land's End reception and I am very excited about it! I definitely think even with the high ceiling if you book a lighting vendor that has good quailty lights, it will still have an amazing effect on the room.

If you go to prestigelightingevents.com, click on Gallery, the 6th hall on the list is Land's End and you can see the room with uplighting in a variety of colors! Glenn from Prestige is awesome, so nice and helpful. But they are a little pricey so we ended up booking someone else for lighting, though I wish we had room in our budget for him!

Hope that helps! Let me know if you need help with or want to talk about anything else Land's End/Lovin Oven related. :)
