Is anyone else concerned that this may appear guady? It's the only thing holding me back on uplighting. When I went to meet with NY Lounge Decor, the barrels were pretty big and rusty looking.. but maybe no one notices? Thoughts?

I was sitting next to one of the lights at TWOTY and it was a little annoying. It looks beautiful, but I feel bad for the people sitting buy the lights. JMO

Were the lights LED? the guy told me the are little things you put on the floor...what's with this barrel nonsense??!!!!

i was at a wedding where they had small barrels. if the tables are really close to the wall then its a lil annoying cuz they get a lil hot but our tabels arent that close to teh wall so im not worried about it at my hall

I believe our DJ uses LED, they are flat panel. Hopefully not annoying . . .

personally, i think you should be using someone who is using LEDs...i would check around for pricing- make sure that you are not getting charged the same amt as if you went with someone who is doing it with the newer method

I just got off the phone with Glenn from Prestige Lighting Events. He cleared 'everything lighting' up for me. Very nice guy. Totally booking him for the big day! I was going to get just LED lights but nowww we're doing LED lighting, pin spots and monogram! So gorgeous...http://www.prestigelightingevents.com We almost booked NY Lounge Decor but Glenn definitely was more into his job than the other dude! Fm for details :)

yeah I know NY Lounge Decor was the big barrels. they wrere pretty bad looking to be honest... but i dunno lately i think i'm just becoming anal about everything!

the LED ones shouldnt be those barrells.... at LI Sound (my DJ) they showed us the LED ones and they are small flat panels that people will probably barely notice
