Upset....

i left my job back in May to pursue a new career. I am busting my brains out between going back to college, working crazy hours part time and planning a wedding.

Everyone from my past jobs couldnt wait til i got married and wanted to attend. Now that my invites have gone out and my mom has sent out invites to my shower, I am realizing that all these 'friends' are unable to come to either both or one or the other.

I know things come up, but when i look at the responses, all my 'friends' are the ones with NOs written next to them.

I feel like everything has just been all talk.

i'm really sorry this is happening to you...it's very unfair that things happen that way...

maybe you should try calling a few of the ones you felt closest with & see what's going on in their lives?

i hate the fact that people feel they have to be phoney. (sp) if they didnt want to be invited, they shouldnt have made it seem like they did

That stinks....i'm so sorry to hear that. I have a feeling a few people i used to work with are going to pull that too Cheer up though....the only guests at your wedding should be the guests who want to share your special day with you.
