I wasn't able to be on the site for the past few weeks because we were looking for apartments. We saw over 40 with and without brokers. On Sunday I found a listing and called the broker. After speaking with him in the afternoon, he promised to call and let me know when we can go see the apartment. It got to 7 pm and he still didn't call me. I kept calling but he didn't return my calls. I was so upset, I had to call different broker from that firm. Finally I got a response that I can see it in few hours. We had to see it late at night and the broker didn't even bother to show up. We had to see it with the super of the building. That real estate is charging a rent and a half for just giving us the address of the building. Can you guys believe that? Even tough we put deposit on the place and signing a lease soon they are still being really rude. One of them was talking to me like I am retarded. The only thing I am happy about is that apartment is really nice and we were able to drop $300 of their fee. Sorry this is so long. Just needed to tell someone.

Sorry all this happening to you. Looking for an apartment is hard enough as is for retarted people like brokers to be acting that. And now they get almost twice they rent and they didn't even do their job, that's really crazy. I wish you luck on ur new place and I hope that they can knock dpwn more on the fee since they didn't even try and help you.

That really stinks. They didn't even help you and are charging you. It's sad that that had to happen, but at least you found a nice apartment!

ugh! i totally agree with mary. that's awful that they treat you that way. ESPECIALLY in this economy! total BS! and i'd definitely report them to the BBB once all is said and done. i'm glad you were able to vent! but that's just awful and i'm sorry that happened to you!
