I understand why you would be upset, but has FH's parents actually said anything about not gifting you the $$$? I am not sure I would jump to conclusions just yet...hopefully they will pull through for you guys!

well i understand that you are in a bad position right now but noone ever plans to lose their job. if i lost my job, i wouldnt know what to do to pay for rent/food, etc. much less a hm. im sorry , i know it ***** but there is nothing you can do and definately nothing ffil can do

the best advice i can give u.. that goes wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy beyond the wedding is... do NOT depend on anyone for anything. ive learned this 1st hand..which is why i was a lil bishy in my 1st post.

but seriously... dont expect anything from anyone. i stopped and now i dont even want anything from anyone. id rather do things on my own.

i went thru it with bedroom furniture. they asked what we wnated for the shower..and being that they were parents they had to get us something
'big' so we said bedroom set. cuz that was going to be our next purchase. they said OK...

time came for the shower... they paid for a nightstand.
