As most of you know, my car was totalled on Friday while it was parked by FH job. So yesterday I got my rental car and I put it in my drive way bc driving a rental right now makes me kinda nervous and im kinda afraid to park it on the street right now b/c of what happened to my car. So my dad comes home last night all pissed off b/c both my rental and my mom's car was in the driveway and he couldn't park his car in there so he starts screaming at me and slamming things and just got outright nasty with me, so I was nasty back to him of course b/c I didn't do anything wrong, if he asked me to move the stupid car I would have but after getting nasty with me I said somethings and so did he and I have now not been talking to him since last night. Its makes me very upset but he's expecting me to apologize for something that wasn;t my fault if he apologizes first I will apologize but im not apologizing first since I didn't do anything wrong.
Also the adjustor came out to look at my car and it is totalled and I'm getting less than I thought and then with my deductible im getting a 1,000 less than that. So now I have to spend more money that wedon't have to get a new car. Im just in a bad mood and nothing is working in my favor right now. Lotta bad things have happened... but =-( Im not sure how is ur relationship with ur dad, but I cannot be mad with my dad... I cant be like that with him... I dont expect apoligizes from my dad in order from me to talk to him.... We are humans and we all amke mistakes.... IF this was someone else i would be like 'HELL YEA BE MAD AT HIM!' but we are talking bout ur dad... Sorry chica,,,,

sounds like a crummy past few days for you.....I'm sure things will blow over with your dad (I'd guess neither of you will apologize, and you will just start talking again)
As for the car...nothing you can really do about it Maybe you will get a real baragin on whatever you look to get

Thanks everyone. I think that's y I am so upset b/c me and my dad have a pretty good relationship, but we are both strong willed and I am exactly like my father so I think this is why we butt heads sometimes but recently we've been really good until this happened, I would even deal without an apology (im not really looking for one, I jsut want him to talk to me like nothing happened and just put it behind us). I hate to fight with my dad since he does so much for me, it just really hurts when I get screamed at for something stupid. If I was wrong I would admit it, but with everything going on right now with the car, we're purchasing a co-op, the wedding, I have 2 big things coming up in April for school so that I can graduate this summer. I just have a lot of stress right now and this was something I didn't need

I'm sorry things aren't going well. Maybe you can start the talk with your dad by saying something like 'I'm upset bc you were yelling instead of just asking me to move the car, I'm sorry I said some things, I'm also hurt that you said some things, but I want to know that you understand my feelings and we can move on from this'...?

Im sorry for everything thats going one. Hopefully things look up soon. Your insurance company should subrogate to get your deductible back and with the way the accident happened you shouldnt have a problem getting it back.

I will talk to my dad tonight. i definitely don't want this to continue, plus tomorrow is my dad's 60th birthday so I don't want to be fighting with him on his big birthday.
