One piece of advice when it comes to picking a photographer - find out when they will give you your proofs and your thank you notes!!!
My photographer is taking forever in getting the thank you notes to me and my 3 months mark to send them up is coming up!
That means I have no time at all to write them - I'll have to do them all in one weekend!!! :P
I'm very upset and just wanted to pass this tip to everyone. Be careful of which photographer you use.

Sorry to hear that. I've heard of this happening to ALOT of people so you're def not the only one. Even when photographers did promise they will get it after a certain amount of time but took alot longer than what they had promised

Yah, I've heard this happening a lot as well. My sister never got her TY's until 5 months after her wedding...... VERY annoying!

What was in the contract? Did they set an amount of time ?

I really wasn't paying attention to the timing of when they would submit thank you notes
but they said it would take 6-8 weeks to deliver proofs. :P and of course it was near 8 weeks when i got my proof after trying to contact them for two weeks about it.
then they said it would take 21 days to process the thank you notes after i submit the photo, and i submit within a day of getting my proofs back! :P
it's just very frustrating so far 'cus now i have to send all the thank you notes this weekend to make the 3 month mark! assuming i get the notes this week!

Thank you. I just met w/ mine this weekend and made them out in the contract that my proofs would be in w/in 30 days. Sorry about this!

I understand that you want to get them out soon but why don't you cut yourself a little slack and give yourself a few weeks to do so instead of stressing your self out right now. I mean, you have a legitimate reason!!
