I bought my BMs matching pearl earrings and pendant/necklaces and pearl bracelets to go with their champagne BM dresses (I felt pearls would look most elegant with their dress color.) My BMs do not know what their gifts are and won't until the RD. Today I was at work ordering a bracelt for my youngest FG (it is a pearl bracelet with a dangling heart charm where her name will be engraved.) My BM (we teach together) said it is pretty- I usually don't like white pearls, but that bracelet is pretty. Now I am upset because I know she is not going to like her BM gift! It is too late for me to return the necklace and earrings since I have had them since before Christmas ( I ordered them from an on-line pearl store.) I am just so sad knowing that she won't like the gift . . . .

Honestly I wouldn't stress to much - I'm not a big pearl person but i would still love to wear them as a BM at a wedding - as long as iy looks nice with the dress I'm sure she will love it!!

Just because she doesn't usually like them doesn't mean she won't like the ones you got her! I'm sure she'll love the gift because it's from you.....

Don't be upset over this! I am sure she will love your gift, because its from you and because you seem to have good taste. Just like she liked the bracelet you ordered for FG, even though perls aren't her thing, she will love the gift!

I think she'll love it! Dont stress about it. Pearls aren't my thing either but if I was a BM and I got pearls I would still love them & wear them because of where they came from.

I wouldn't get upset about it...just because she is not a fan of pearls doesn't mean she won't like it or wear it...sometimes you need to try it to like it

Like everyone else said, try not to stress about it. I'm certain she'd like them and probably find a new great way to wear them. She might be thankful to you later for making her discover a new way to wear pearls.

Don't worry about it, she will love the gift. A lot of people don't think something is their 'thing' until they actually see it on them. Anyway, I would love any gift a friend me because I know she put a lot of thought into it.

Just because she said she normally doesnt like pearls doesnt mean she wont like it. After all she was telling you this because she did like the bracelet so she probably will like the necklace.
