Does anyone feel like the upskirt style is really uncomfortable and might be hard to sit in? I went dress shopping today and I tried on a standard A-line that looked beautiful but i wanted something a little different. The upskirt I tried on was really nice too but I'm having trouble deciding. I'm getting married in august and I'm wondering if an upskirt is gonna feel too hot.

What is an upskirt? Do you mean a petticoat?
If your wedding is in doors, than the weather shouldn't affect you except during pictures or something. If you want an aline vs. straight skirt, go for it!

that's what the woman at the store called it, it looks like big folds in the dress. That's the best way i can describe it. Maybe there's another word for it but that's what I was told it was.

I think it's also called a French bustle. Is it where they gather up the train by folding it underneath the skirt, instead of attaching it onto the waistline?

I've heard that called a pickup skirt, but never an upskirt. I think it's a very pretty style.
