Hi all, I am very excited to be having my wedding in the small, upstairs room at Chateau La Mer. HOWEVER, I just booked at 8-piece band and am worried that I will have to give out pretty packages of Excedrine as wedding favors! Has anyone heard a band in that room? Is it loud? The band leader said he could adjust the sound to accomodate the size of the room but I'm not convinced. Thanks!

I wish I could answer your question - I'm having my wedding in the same room. The only other bride I knew of that had their reception in that room had a dj....

Im into music incredibly, and If the band says they will adjust it, they will make it work with the room. They have to do that all the time. I think you will be fine. Plus I love that room up there its so nice!! and the view is awesome.

I can let you know in November! lol my MOH is having hers in the same room at CLM and she is having a band. I wont know until then!

My wedding was up there and I stressed ENDLESSLY about the space. I couldnt picture how 150 people would fit up there and dance and etc... anyway... I totally had nothing to worry about. The space was absolutely accommadating and the DJ had a very large screen and big lights etc.
I have pics of the room in my review if you want to show your band.
