im only 22 but i really feel like i have grown out of my other friends. i do care about them but i feel like the majority of time i have nothing in common with them anymore. im no longer single, i have an apartment, i pay for all my own bills and i work from 8-5 everyday!! im not a single 19 yr old hanging out at the local bar anymore. yet they dont seem to get why on friday nite i dont wanna b picking there drunk a** up at the bar or going out at all hours..i really feel like im stuck at a crossroads between being an adult and a teen. i do feel like i have no friends that i can relate to anymore. did any1 else go threw this??

yes. I don't have all the same friends I had when I was 19. Or even the same friends I had when I was 23. People change and their interests change. There is nothing worng with it. People mature at different rates and what is fun for one person isn't fun for another.
It is totally natural and happens I most everyone, I think.
Try looking for people with the same interests you have.

Thats the same way I feel about a lot of my friends. They take like 8 years to finish an associats degree, go out drinking every night, sleep till 2 pm, have a p/t job, live with parents who pay most of their bills. This one frind calls me at like midnight on weeknights and asks me to go out! I am like, No I have to be up for work in 6 hours and they they ask why I don't want to hang out with them anymore!!!??? Very annoying! I have a new group of friends now, and these old friends I only see every now and then.

I did. I only have one friend from H.S. and the rest of my 'friends' are family and co-workers. I think it is a normal thing and sometimes a very big transition. This started for me nearly 2 years ago when I first got engaged and I am still adjusting!

I'm 22, and I feel the same way. I'm in college, but I have to work 2 jobs and I'm engaged and I just feel SO much older than my friends. I can't relate to them anymore.
