Urban legend or no?

So, my MOH/sister was swearing up and down that on the '07 boards, during that year, girls would call up an RH that they would REALLY want and cancel the wedding. . .that wasn't theirs. This way, they could call up the RH the next day and book it. I told that this HAD to be an urban legend because I didn't think there was any way a girl could be THAT malicious on here.

So. . .urban legend or no?

well you cant cancel an rh with a phone call. If you cancel you need to come in and sign papers. BUT some girl did try yes, they did it to MJDOC12 and she has posted about it so maybe you can search the info. Of course didnt get far and the rh called her and asked her about it bc well its not that easy and i think they figured it out.

The other thing girls say on here is another girl called to steal a girls vendors but they usually misunderstand what happened. This happened on the 08 board BUT it wasnt one girl who tried to steal ANOTHER girls vendors. What happened was that there were 2 LIW i wont say girls but sn's lol(you'll understand soon) one girl posted saying how she wanted a certain hair and make up artist but another girl was using themalready on that date and if we think she can persuade these ppl to do her wedding instead. A couple of us realized who she was talking about bc we saw the wedding date and only 1 other girl at that time was getting married that day and yes using those hair and make up artists. She then started talking crazy and saying how she LOVED everything this other LIW member Karen was doing for her wedding and thats why she wanted to steal her hair and make up artists and all her ideas bc she has such great taste and wants to do all the same things. Now we all said oh no we have to tell Karen this is horrible some girl is trying to steal her vendors. So we all told Karen, and karen came on here saying how she couldnt believe somebody would do this to her and blah blah blah and we all felt SOOO bad for her. WELL the next day Ron comes on and said he did some investigating. He said that the girl who posted tha she wanted to steal karens vendors was NOT another LIW member but infact it was Karen herself who made up a different SN. I guess she did it to get attention and post threads with someone saying how they loved everything karen was doing to show she has great taste lol. And then we noticed after that whenever karen would post anything, this other sn would always post saying 'OMG that is amazing' or you look amazing, or you have the best ideas lol but she was just posting under different sn's to praise herself lol

hmmm i dont know who snowflake is. There was a snowflake on 08 but she was a different person and real. I guess something happened on 09 boards with a snowflake. But yeah usually when something weird happens karen's name comes up so probably lol

there was a girl a few months back..she posted a whole story bout how her finace was mean to her,etc etc..we all responded,the she posted on nw boards under a diffrent name with the same story but now he was her dh...turned into a whole mess of people saying she was fake,people defending her..then ron said she was a fake//she had 3 diff accounts...i just remember a few girls asking if it was karen..i never knew what that meant till now

So somebody DID try to cancel a girl's RH???? Holy cow. Why the hell would somebody think that this is remotely acceptable? If you want something that badly, then you make it work. . .just not that way. Seriously, if my RH wasn't available in July 2009, we would have made it work at a different time. How HORRIBLE!!!

That other girl must have had waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much time on her hands. Who does that?

no i dont think they wanted that persons RH, i think they had something against MJ and tried to screw her over by doing that. But they were stupid bc it doesnt work that way and of course the RH is gonna know its not her. You cant just call and say 'hey im melissa, i want to cancel my wedding ok bye' lol

Yeah, I didn't think somebody could call up and say, 'Hi, I'm Megan and I'm cancelling, kthnksbye!' Still, scary to think that people could be that malicious.

well good thing these malicious ppl are stupid too lol and actually believe that it is that easy, what were they thinking of course the RH is gonna ask more questions and verify that its you lol
