Urgent invitation advice needed!! Help for the color impaired

Hi girls! I need some advice for my invitations. My FH and I are ordering them tomorrow and we're not sure if it's okay to do this color....we're both color blind!!!
Our bridemaids are wearing a rose petal pink (described as peptobismol color by my brother in law!). We were originally going to go with plain white invitations with a scalloped edge and do the pink writing/envelope liner. We found an invitation that we love which has a scalloped border on it...only it's a sage green (so I'm told!). Can we do the green invite even though the dresses are pink? If we go with green, can we use pink writing/envelope liners? What color would you suggest?

im trying to picture the exact colors in my head. but i think it would look nice together. and you dont 'have' to match the invitations to the dresses. do you have sample colors you can post?

I think sage and pink go lovely together....do you have pics? Maybe bring a friend to get their opinion.

I think people get so caught up on their invites matching the BM's dresses...but (besides soon-to-be brides and recent brides), do you think anyone else looks at the color and then waits two months to see if it's a perfect match to the BM's dresses!?!?! I don't know..maybe I just don't get it.
Anyway.....sage green and pink match so you can put both on the invite. good luck
