Of course I didn't bring my invitations to the post office because I am an A$$. Anyway, I weighed them at work and ran them through the postage machine .59 cents. They are a little smaller than an 8 x 6. Anyway, my mom went to the post office to get stamps for the response cards and there was another B2B there and her invites looked about my size (8.5 x6) and hers were over a dollar. Can someone please tell me if there invites were .59 cents postage?

Re: Urgent postage question
GO HERE to check the dimensions of a letter. if yours is out of those dimensions you may have to pay additional postage.

Re: Urgent postage question
mine were square so they were more expensive- 6x6 ($1.17)-- but the guy said something about besides mine being square they were overstandard size- which I think yours might be also. I would definately bring it to the post office & check it

they told me the same thing...the envelope is actually 6.5x6.5 & the max for a square is 6 1/8 so it is in the next category of envelopes....mine were $1 though.

Re: Urgent postage question
My daughter's are 6 X 6 and I weighed them at home and they should have been .76. I decided to take them to the post office and they told my it would have been .76 weight wise but there was an additional 20 cent surcharge so it came to 96 cents. I would take it to the post office to be sure.

Re: Urgent postage question
Mine weren't. Mine were 1.34 because they are square and I have a bow which forces USPS to handle them manually.
