URGH!!!!!!!!!! I need something for my hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is the deal. I DO NOT WANT A TIARA. I am wearing my hair half up/half down and my veil is cathedral, which I am only wearing until my first dance. My dress is VERY similar to ChrissynRicky so something gold-tone is what I am preferring. The Thomas Knoel guy on here told me he would not have enough time to make me something. Where can I get clip/barrette/comb something that is super nice but also simple and elegant.

Can you so me some pics of what you did?????

I used about 4 hairpins. Here is what the back looked like..HTH

ETA: I got them at Macy's in Manhassett. Last time I was there they did have some gold toned clips.

why don't you do what christine did? buy a nice clip/broach and turn it into a hair clip? I found her hers on hsn.. you should check out hsn and qvc, they have fantastic costume broaches...

i also am not having a headpiece. i purchased beautiful pins in NYC...there are tons of shops on 6th avenue late thirties/early40's...

you can also try tri-county...

lastly...did you consider a flower?? check out JOHNSAE...she looked beautiful!
