I brought my car in today for service only to get a tab that's a few dollars over $1000.00. I've had it for five years now, so my warranrty doesn't cover some of the work that needs to be done. I mean, I could have really used that money towards the wedding but then again, I depend on my vehicle a lot to get me to work. If only I could hit the damn lotto!

I have over 60,000 miles on it so I had to get the 60,000 miles service, which includes a whole lot of services. I also had to get my rear brakes done, my inspection, and some other service, as my SRS light was on. I am sure that if I went to a local mechanic it would not have been so costly but then again ever since I bought my car I always carried it to the dealership where I bought it for service. This habit has just stuck.
I guess, it would not matter as much if I did not have all this wedding expense as well.

I never do those service things. Nissan sends me stuff in the mail all the time!

Thank god my Step-Dad is a mechanic! He works here at the school and teaches Auto so he works on my car all the time. He has saved me tons of money!

Yes FH has a Nissan and even though he's a bit over 42,000 miles Nissan sends him free offers in the mail but he doesn't take it to them much anymore- he found a good mechanic near our house.

I only go to Nissan if it's something that needs repair and it's under my warranty.
