Kate; If it shipped UPS ground it's minimum 5 business days and could be 6 or 7. My family ships me things from Arizona and that's the standard time, so if you know it shipped Monday, I'd be expecting a call that it's in next Monday or Tuesday. See if you can get a tracking number from the shipper - then you can go to the UPS web site and find out just where it is.

Before you go for your fitting, are you going to stop in to see the dress? I would call ahead and just ask if you can view the dress to make sure it is the right style and size. If it was not so close to you date, then I wouldn't be here thinking about "what-if's". My dress came in this January for my August wedding. I insisted on seeing the dress to make sure it was the correct one and was not way too big or small. I am sure everything will go smoothly and you will look beautiful.
We spent about $15k for our wedding, which we paid for entirely ourselves -and NONE was on credit (The 15k does not include flowers and my dress, which my parents paid for). I got exactly what I wanted and was frugal in certain areas to afford splurging in others. Some might have considered it extravagant, others might have thought it was simple. What is important is that it was OUR wedding and we thought it was beautiful and enjoyed every minute of it.
