Anyone know of any stores that 'buy' used text books?
Thanks,

Well these are older books....

Hmm your best bet may be Ebay or Amazon--most bookstores at or affiliated with colleges only buy the edition being used in class right now.

try Half.com (part of amazon). Hey, you never know. Some professors may not use the most updated version if they feel there hasn't been much change so that the students don't have to keep buying new copies all the time.

textbooks.com (part of B&N) also has an outlet.

Otherwise if you just want to get rid of them, try your local library. They may take it?

Good Luck!

I already put one on ebay last night

I have a lot of books to sell

I sold a bunch on Amazon as well, but they were subject specific and I did pretty well. I have also purchased older texts for research and reference purposes, so you might actually get a decent price for them.

Barnes and Noble will buy them from you - go to the website to see what they will give you. Usually it is not that much, so I would try to sell them on my own first.

I use this website all the time. They seem to give to most amount of money for the books compared to other sites and you print out the shippingg label so it costs you nothing
