Uses for Engagement Photos

FI just asked me what the purpose of engagement pictures are. I was trying to list some, but all I cam up with are...

1. Engagement announcement for the paper
2. Include in wedding/engagement party invites possibly
3. Currently loving the idea of putting them in a book from My Publisher to use as our guest book.

Can anyone help me with any others? hehe!

to have a nice professional photo of the two of you-- that you can have, and also give to your parents, etc.

it's also a good way for the two of you to get used to having pics taken. it might make it more comfortable to take pics on the wedding day.

Use on programs, save the dates, menus, favor tags...
I also had a signing board and a my publisher photog guestbook.
We gave one to our parents framed at teh rehearsal dinner.

i'm planning on putting my engagement photos on our guestbook table and maybe having one or two set up on an easel at our wedding.

We ordered 5 x 7 of our fav's and are giving them to our parents framed as part of their gift!!

They are great shots that you normally would never have. I don't normally pose kissing on the beach (lol) We got some really great poses that one day you will look back on and feel that feeling again!!!
