m first name is theresa, but only the IRS calls me that.

But i agree with above poster, use your full name for invites but your nickname on favors and such.

For your wedding invites I would use Theresa...then for everything else I would use your nickname....I even think it would be ok if you used your nickname when saying your vows....after all that is what everyone knows you as.

im not using my full name for the invitations. i think if my invitations said Catherine, no one would know who it was lol so i'll stick with Cassie on everything =)

my legal name is Patricia but everyone either calls me tricia or mostly trish. so on all my wedding stuff including invites i used Tricia. HTH

yep! the only thing that should really be formal are ur invites....and maybe programs but that's a personal choice

well my Fh goes by a nickname created by his mom., his name is shortened.
we are using his nickname everywhere but Invites b/c we feel its ceremonial...

it seems like I am the only person to think that you could use Tess on your invites. If that is the ONLY name you have ever gone by, work/school/credit cards etc, then it seems to make sense.... if I was in the same sitch i could see some people being like 'who is this?' if i used a name that no one knew me by
