Using Powerpoint to make monograms

Does anyone have a guide of some sort or tips on how to make a monogram using powerpoint?

I am lost on this and do not know where to start. Is this complicated? I don't use powerpoint to often.
Thanks.

you dont have to use powerpoint, you can use word also. in either one you just want to use textboxes so that you can move the letters around as you wish and use different fonts and sizes. I would start out by creating one text box and then select no fill and no line, choose a font and size then copy and paste it just change the letter.
