Well even though its a little late for you, I found that if you move into a place with just mere house ants, consider yourself blessed. They eat the roach eggs, hence they can't strive. A nasty little flying roach flew into my house, I tried to kill it but it quickly crawled into the heating duct. Fortunally the ants feasted on any eggs those nasty buggers created and we haven't had any more problems. Ants are very territorial and theses house ants don't bother us at all. I rarely see them and the bug population in the house including spiders is kept in check.

As for you my father told me what his aunt did to get rid of her roach problem. My father said she starved them out. All her food was in air sealed containers, her bread and cereal was put in zip lock bags. She would constantly clean and make sure there as no water or liquid loss the house. (that goes for fish blows, dog dishes, etc...)

Also those little roach traps work great. But they take 72hr for you to feel an affect and it doesn't get rid of them all. Roaches will go anywhere where its dark and full of water.

Good luck. Try to have a good time Friday.
