YES!!!! I'm hoping we can take a long weekend later on in the summer even if it's somewhere local-ish... we need it!

Yup. I am using my 2 weeks vacation to work just so I can have time off when we get married.
It's a hassle but will pay off once you get married.

We've taken or will be taking a few weekend trips the next few months but thats not completely the same.
I could use some time off period but unfortunately I don't get paid since i'm working temp :( I have no clue whats going to happen for the wedding/HM.

I can definitely use a vacation. I mean I took 2 weeks off from work when FH was home but it wasnt really a vaca because we did all the wedding stuff then...
now I need a vacation from my vacation time haha
but the next vacation we will be going on is our HM most likely....unless when Fh comes home next July I take him somewhere for a weekend since we wont have seen each other for a year- I think we will deserve it haha

We are. We want to go on one so bad but just don't have the money right now. FH said a couple weeks ago lets go to Disneyworld. We don't have the money though and I said once we get married and go on our honeymoon we can go on vacation every year. Its hard right now.

i know last year around this time we were a few short weeks from going on our cruise, which is where he proposed. His whole family is going to aruba this week and its like great everyone is going away

Well...FH and I decided that we were going away anyway. i went online and got some great deals to Chicago and then went on eBay and found gift certificates for hotels and restaraunts. I would suggest going away even if for the weekend...fire island or something. Vacation is the best medicine for EVERYTHING!

we go away alot and i think we need to cool it down. we were just in Jamaica for a week and on a 10 night cruise, and going away in August. yikes, now that i am thinking about it yea we need to not go away this winter!!!
