vacation

Any suggestions to a weekend vacation getaway - some place romantic - yet a place we can go site seeing and have fun - nothing too crazy as were getting married next year - but want to go someplace.....

Any suggestions??

What about NYC? It's always fun to be a tourist in your hometown. It's not too far away...there's so much to do and you can stay in a nice hotel. Go see a broadway show (get 1/2 tickets at the booth on 48th street)...go to little Italy for a nice romantic dinner. Walk around. If you feel crazy...you can even take one of those big red double-decker buses...they look like fun!

we went to The Sagamore in Lake George last year around this time of year.
It was really pretty with the leaves changing colors and everything.
We got a chance to check out the town and to go hiking through the mountains up there as well as drive around. There are also some nice restaurants for dinners.
It was very peaceful and very romantic.
