Vacation Help..

Hi all,
My boyfriend and I wil be getting engaged this May. We have been ring shopping. We are going to Paris in 4 weeks for 6 days (our first trip together abroad). exciting!

I would love to surprise my love with a vacation in August when I finish my Masters (mid August). I know he wants to go somewhere where we can be on the beach, drinking and reading.

I am in grad school with little to no money to spare. I neeed to find a super cheap, romantic getaway. This trip will be a 'i'm so glad we are engaged / birthday gift for him.

Any suggestions on where to go in the Carribbean? Cheap Deals? Places you went for your honeymoon?

Mexico is pretty cheap...and I've heard the dominican republic is also pretty cheap. Check out www.discount-all-inclusive.com...thats where we found the best deals for our honeymoon. If you prefer booking through an actual travel agent, sometimes they are willing to match prices you find elsewhere.

Mexico and DR are affordable...also Puerto Rico and during that time, the Caribbean as well but watch out for hurricane season. You can also make a trip to Southern Florida--Key West and Miami...we went to Siesta Keys in Florida last year and it was gorgeous--relaxing and beautiful beaches with sand like baby powder.

def look at AI's in Mexico, Punta Cana, and Jamaica. Expedia lists all the AI's in these places and other places if you click on vacations and then click on all inclusives.
