vacation help

John and i are looking to go on a cheap vacation In nov for our anniversary :)

we do it ever yeaqr but this yeah it cant be huge bc of the wedding...we dont want to do a cruise again..Maybe mexico? How long is the flight there? and good hotel recommendations? we would really like to eat at the hotel and then try some authentic mexican food 2...so recommendations for that would be nice to :)


we arent dead set on mexico but that was just an affordable idea we came up with :)

ahhh theres a bunch of hotels in mexico girls always talk about here, i think Riviera(something like that) excellence...have you looked into cabo? not sure about prices though in cabo. Luvmyalfonse went to a place recently and it looks great and she raved about it so maybe ask her for info.

DR-you can get great rates at an all-inclusive place

November is off season you can get a great price to Mexico!!!!
I went to Playa Del Carmen for four days right after Thanksgiving and got a great price, weather was awesome too!!!
You may want to wait a bit because prices will come down the closer you get to the date...

I've never been to Mexico but both my sister and my best friend are in Puerto Vallarta this week at different all - inclusives, Dreams and Riu, I'll let you know how they like it when they get back.

I gotta say I've been dying to go back to Key West though!!! If you haven't been there I highly reccomend it, soooo much fun!

It really is a shame he doesn't want to do DR - Punta Cana is now my favorite place - FH was unsure but since we went there in Feb he doesn't want to go back to Mexico - the beaches are gorgeous there.

also Key West - I LOVE IT THERE i am like the spokesperson. . . FH and I went twice. We drove down the second time and it was my favorite vacation ever!

Secrets no longer manages Secrets Excellence - its just called Excellence

but Secrets Capri is great too.

Iberostar opened up a brand new adults only hotel called Iberostar Grand it is supposed to be amazing - the rates are great now because its new so you may get a good deal on that one...

Sorry I work for a travel company and we specialize in Punta Cana/Cancun area....
I have been to almost all the hotels in Punta Cana and Cancun/Riv MAya for work trips - mostly just quick visits and stuff so I get all carried away with this stuff....

yeah i did a search on mexico here, and i did seem some confusion in posts about excellence

hahaha its ok i dont mind at all, i hope if i give info and someone has more updated information they tell them so this way they dont think W** was Denise talking about lol

I loved Cancun. If you don't go in March, it really isn't 'spring break-ish'. It was a 5 hour flight.

It was afordable and lots to do there. We had the best time.

I cant decide between excellence and palace resorts !! they both have great prices..all inclusive..etc....what do u guys think?

im going to check out trip advisor 2 :)
