Have any one you every vacationed out in the Midwest? Montana possibly? I have no idea about anything out that way...I Disney obessed so this is out of my range....but I would like to plan a trip and surprise FH...is there any places that a weekend would be ok?

I haven't been personally, but my sister and her boyfriend vacationed in Montana at a place called Big Sky Resort, I think. Its a great ski area in the winter and is part of a national park. It is supposed to be really beautiful. But I don't know about going for just a weekend, thats quite a plane ride for two days, probably around 4 1/2 to 5 hours. Maybe if it was a long weekend it would be OK. HTH!

What about Jackson Hole, WY - its gorgeous there. I don't really know - I am going back to Disney in May for my 7th trip in 8 years - hahaaha!

Sorry i have never been to the midwest, not really my type of vacation place, but you can try Chicago maybe? or national parks in places like Utah are suppose to be nice
