Vacations- taking one? Need One?

Amidst all the wedding planning anyone going away soon, over the summer? Need to get away but can't?

(I know we saw one Summer Disney trip- that's a great one- love it there

We're going to Florida Wed before mem day till mem day- we go to Boynton Beach to see FH's parents but it's so nice and relaxing where they are- pool, clubhouse, meals out every night and of course tennis courts for us- and beautifully kept ones. It has made me definitely want to retire to Florida.

We usually go away in October too but not sure yet due to wedding and FH's job. Guess we could take some small 3 day trips.

How about you ladies?

i reacently went to argentina for a week. much needed vacation.

we do go away every summer to a friends upstate for a long weekend...

nothing else planned until nov after our wedding.

oohh Argenitna- that sounds like a great week. Never been to South Amer

FH and I go away on vacation at least 1x a year, if not 2x. we make it a point because we are so busy with our jobs.

We also go to Florida (Disney) every Memorial Day, but this year we are not goin because I started a ne job back in Nov and I don't have the time, BUT we are going on vacation in August. (I'm missing the '09 bridal shower..sorry ladies)

Us and 3 other couples rented a beach house right on the beach in North Carolina for the week. We are so excited and can't wait.

i went for my first time 3 years ago when we started dating to see his family...

def after 3 years of NO vacations i NEEEEEEDED one!

I take one major internantion trip a year. We are going to to Jamaica in June (I was supposed to go to Jamaica last yr but hurricane Dean happened, but it was good that I couldnt go since we made plans to postpone our vacation to Jamaica and then take a diff trip to Costa Rica and thats where we got engaged)

We are also going to Fort Myers for July 4th weeekend w/ friends and we go camping in jersery every memorial day.

At the end of May I am spending a few days in Vegas then a few days in Seattle (Seattle for a wedding). I might try to get to FL sometime at the end of the summer to see family.

Once I throw in all the Jewish holidays which seem to fall mid-week this year in September, I am barely going to be in the office for a 2 week stretch then too!

Nope. Not going anywhere except the beach this summer. Probably won't go anywhere until our honeymonn.

Literally have to save every penny to make this wedding happen (well-- at least happen the way I want it to)

If I am out of office for more than 5-7 days they go nuts, start calling my cell phone, asking quesitons like they cannot function w/o me. I already had to warn them- HM may be two weeks and do not call me !!!! lol

We won't be a having a holiday abroad this year as were saving all we can for the wedding. We'll take short trips away to see my family.

We are taking a 8day 7night vacation to Barbados with FH family. Thanks to Bush's tax relief. In July

We went to the poconos for a few days.. and hope to go away for a weekend to Atlantic City or something small.... can't really do a week away right now because of FH's jobs.....

The last vacation we had was when we got engaged back in September. We aren't planning a vacation but maybe a little get-away. At the end of May we might go up to Montreal for the weekend. We did it last year with his family and had a lot of fun.

FH, FILS, and I are going on a cruise out of NY in May. It goes to Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. Maarten and Grand Turk. I am so excited. We did the same cruise last May and had a blast. And we were lucky enough to get FILs to offer to pay for our cruise...which is amazing. I have the best FILs ever!
