Vaccuums.....What does everybody have??

We need a good vaccuum and I have no clue what to get, we currently own an Eureka upright-bagless and I don't care for it, it's not so powerful.

I just got a Wind Tunnel (I think Hoover makes it). So far so good.

I really want a Rainbow.

We registered for an upright (cant remember what) I asked for one thing, Jim wanted something else, so I let him choose.

For now we're using a dirt devil. ICK!! with a bag.. DOUBLE ICK

I have to leave everytime he vaccuums.

We recently bought the Hoover Floormate!! it's AWESOME! We have marble tile in most of our apartment, so it works wonders on the tile. We use it in addition to our regular clunky vacuum that we use on the rugs and the carpet, but it's really perfect for our tile floor.

We have all hardwood floors in our house, the the only places we really vacuum are the area rugs. We recently got the Hoover Floormate and love it. It dry vacuums and it also scrubs and cleans the floors as well, and squeegies up the water so its dry.

We have a regular Oreck vacuum and the cute little Roomba robot vac..which is amazing!

I have central vac in my condo...although it's great not to have to buy a vacuum...lugging out that big hose is really annoying. I'm thinking of getting a new vaccuum also.

I have a great Dirt Devil (forgot the model) but it's 12 amps and drags me all over the house.

Whatever you decide please DON'T BUY the KIRBY. That vaccum cleaner comes with about a thousand parts and costs an arm and a leg, and doesn't even work in my opinion. I am a hoover girl myself

Another owner of a Hoover Wind Tunnel. Patrick loves it. I personally don't have an opinion because I HATE to vaccuum, and avoid it at all costs.
Fortunately my husband's love of power tools carries over to the vaccuum!

I got a Shark at my shower...haven't used it yet so I can't say how good it works or doesn't work. It's a pretty color though... !
