We always go to Jerry and the Mermaid in Riverhead, but that might be too far East, lol. However, the food is fabulous!
I second la plage.... Also panama hattie's on jericho tpke in huntington, and mirabelles in st james on 25A (all are rather $$$$)
A slightly more modest option is pasta pasta in port jefferson (about $50/pp after a glass of wine and dessert)

i've been to tellers and it is great! i have also been to paces-in port jeff and it was good too! im also looking for a place to make reservations for us-so thanks ladies!!
