Re: Valentines day

I can help you with Queens restaurants if you want.

I suggested this to another NW and she made reservations at 718 in astoria. This place is great for vday, has that romantic feeling and cozy and modern type place too. The cuisine is french and spanish fusion, it is delicious. Alot more intimate than alot of other places. They have a site too if you want to check out the menu

L'incontro-in astoria, but this place books up in advance on regular nights so not sure if vday they will have availability

Piccolo Venezia-Astoria

Parkside-Corono

Simply Fondue-Atlas Park

Riverview-LIC-also has a romantic type atmosphere. I will say though that DH and I went 3 years ago here for v-day and it is prix fix menu like most places though but it was $85 per person just for the food. VEry good though.

If you like steak, how about Peter Lugers on Northern Blvd. in Great Neck...love it!

Where are you getting your massages?

If you want to stay in the great neck area there is

Elaine's - a sushi restaurant with a modern/trendy feel to it

Also, I'm pretty sure a Simply Fondue opened up there too but I have never been there.

Yes, Simply Fondue is in Great Neck now...Walbaums shopping center. That is where we are going for our V-Day dinner ;) We have never been there. Hmmm...if you like Asian food, try WILD GINGER. It's in the Walbaums Shopping Center, too. We go there/get take out from there at least once a month. Great food, great price. Vespa is on Northern Blvd (a few blocks from Peter Lugars). They have fabulous italian food and when you walk in you feel like you are in Italy...very romantic.

So here are my recommendations:

Simply Fondue
Wild Ginger
Vespa
