Valentine's Day

What are you ladies doing for FH for V-day? Mine admitted to me that he went a little overboard, but then said that it's okay because its 'the girl's holiday'.
I got him a black book for all of his graffitti friends to write in (I don't even know what that means, to me it's a weird little autograph book) and two custom bars of chocolate from chocomize.com. Check the site out, it's awesome. I also figured I'd pay for dinner the weekend of.
I'm going crazy because he ALWAYS goes overboard. Any ideas, or am I doing enough? I'd love to hear what you ladies are doing for your FH!

FH and I actually don't celebrate Valentine's Day lol

I love the customized chocolate bars! that's awesome.

Aw! That sounds super cute! FH has to work so I am going to wake up and make him breakfast and put some cute valentines day goodies in his lunch and cooking him dinner ( I do every night but making something special) and dessert. I bought him a storm trooper (from Star Wars) sweatshirt that he has wanted for a long time.

Valentine's Day

Well since V-Day is 2/14, his bday is 3/7, and our 5 year anniversary is 3/13 we decided to book two nights at the borgata in AC for march 3/3-3/5. It's an expensive month and we really are trying to save so we figured lets use the complimentary rooms so we save there & have a little getaway. We will prob do dinner but nothing crazy (but he BETTER get me flowers!!) I think I may surprise him with an Islanders jersey because he doesn't have one. But it is more $ then I want to spend considering we are trying to save as much as possible for the wedding/home. I really better get my a$$ moving though. Good thing I'm off tomorrow. I'm usually more romantic but my mind has been wedding wedding wedding. Oops.

I know FH is sending me flowers at work because he told me and wanted me to pick them out. I told him no and to just surprise me lol. We're making each other presents so I'm excited about that! We're just gonna hang out at home and just spend time together on the couch :)

A typical thursday really lol

we go to the melting pot the weekend of valentine's day every year!!! :) and this year it will be the same!!! its the one dinner splurge we have every year! and its great!!!

Our anniversary is 2/12 so we just do a combined dinner. We're trying to save money though so I'll probably just make his favorite dinner - filet mignon!

We were supposed to stay at our favorite hotel in NYC, but opted to just save our money. On Valentine's Day I'm going to cook dinner and we'll probably just lay low since we'll both be tired from work. FH bought me tickets to see Cinderella on Broadway for my birthday in January, but planned it for Valentine's Day weekend so we didn't have to spend additional money doing something. I'm SO excited to see it!

I'm making him dinner that night and he's taking me out that weekend. He usually sends flowers, too. We're not really all that into V-Day though, lol

We don't really do much, we go to Hooter's for wings (love it! lol) and he will get me flowers and I got hima card. We don't really like V-day so it's like a normal night for us.

We got a gift card to a really nice restaurant and will be using it Friday night to celebrate Valentine's day. We're just happy to be together celebrating our love :)

Valentines Day is actually our Anniversary as well...CHEEEESYYY I know! If I can get out of my babysitting job, We'll do dinner in the city and then the Rangers game (yeah, I'm completely annoyed at them for having a home game on MY ANNIVERSARY! LOL) If not, we'll do dinner on Friday. I think I'm going to get him a tablet even though I KNOW he won't really use it, but thats what he wants!

I wanted to get tickets to that Ranger game also!! My FH is going away on a work trip so I'm going to pack him a surprise box of candy in his suitcase. We agreed not to spend much money this year and save for the wedding, we usually just do dinner and a movie anyway.

hahaha I HATED hockey before I met FH but now I am hooked! I think I like it more than him now lol he just got home from work and we're talking about tonights game!
