According to my fertility friend www.fertilityfriend.com and Baby Zone www.babyzone.com, My peak time for ovulation is on Valentines Day! Maybe, there will be heavy dust on that day! LOL Anyone else?\

Well, I went to the fertility specialist yesterday and she checked to see if I ovulated ....which I did. What is so frustrating is that I ovulated sooner than I thought. So we will see if I am PG. But, she gave me depressing news that my fibroids will be a problem if I become pregnant!! I have grape fruit sizes.

I want to get my fibroids removed and I was hoping that I would have my procedure this month. But, I got layed off and my insurance expires at the end of this month. And my doctor won't even touch me if she thinks I am pregnant. Which a blood test cannot be taken until the end of the month for an accurate reading. You got it....the same time my insurance expires. So my only choices are:

1) That I am pregnant now and that I will pray for a successful pregnancy.

2) Find out that I am not pregnant, and pay the one month for Cobra....so that I can have my procedure next month.

Talk about timing!!! Arghhh!! I am so upset b/c I want to get my procedure done before I look for a new job.

Oh pay for COBRA!! Really!! Its so important to have insurance.. baby or not.

OH yeah- I O'd about 5 days earlier than the charting said. The only reason I knew I Od early was becuase I was using the OPK.

Now Im just waiting to test!

Good luck and try the OPK if you havent already.

I know its terrible timing but either way - I think you need to keep having insurance, because even if you are PG you will need regular DR.'s visits. So its very important. I am sorry that you have to deal with this...

Thanks Girls! I will most likely get the Cobra for a couple of months. But, I was told that I would qualify for Healthy NY. Which is for those persons who are self-employed, students, or for those who recently layed off. However, Healthy NY does not cover fertility specialist. But, I think I want to get the procedure done before seeking for another job. I guess I could always do temp work for income!
