Yeah I was planning on cooking dinner for FH but I did that last year and it got expensive. I was going to make him cheese fondue because his parents got me a fondue pot for Christmas. We also might go see a romantic movie. You could rent a movie at home. FH and I are dorks and have fun sitting around playing Scrabble lol. As long as you're together, you'll have fun.

Yea, I guess we're all on the same boat (serious budgets). As long as you're together enjoying each other's company, that's all that matters, right?

We are going to see Tony & Tina's Wedding. I got the tickets pretty cheap, $50 each. I have a promo code if you want......

We too are just doing dinner, and cards. No gifts this year as wedding expensives are much higher on our list.

Re: Valentines day!!!!!!!!!!!! Inexpensive ideas>>>?

As for the OPs question... we said we aren't going to get gifts for any of the upcoming holidays or birthdays and put the money we would have spent on eachother and put it towards a mini vacation this summer..

But for my birthday he still went out and bought me a few small things so for Valentines day I picked him up a pair of boxers with cupid on them ($5 at target!) and a card. I'll also make him a little scrapbook..and then we'll go out to dinner but thats it..GOTTA SAVE!!! I would love to stay at home and cook but we still live with my parents and my 4 brothers..so they'll be nothing romantic about it! lolz
