Valentine's Day is fast approaching

How will you and FH, or DH, celebrate? How did you celebrate in the past? Did any of you get engaged on Valentine's Day? What has been your most memorable Valentine's Day? Mary MOB

FH and I have a 'marriage counseling' to go to how romantic but maybe we will have a nice dinner after!

this will be our 5th valentines day were going out to dinner and we decided to go to the poconos the week after since were both off from work/school Im super excited we've only spent one 'together' meaning he had been away at school so we would never celebrate on the actual day so im excited! what are you doing mary?

this will be our 5th valentines day were going out to dinner and we decided to go to the poconos the week after since were both off from work/school Im super excited we've only spent one 'together' meaning he had been away at school so we would never celebrate on the actual day so im excited! what are you doing mary?

Hi Megan!!!! Your plans sound like fun!!!!! My Husband and I don't celebrate Valentines in a big way. I usually give my Husband and kids/significant others and Grandson, valentine cards/presents. Sometimes my Husband surprises me with a heart box of candy. He has a hard time with the whole gift thing no matter what holiday it is, because in his background, ex-Amish, gifts aren't important. we will probably just go to dinner, our 9 year anniversary is thursday (1/31) so with the 2 so close we will keep it low key

This is our 7th Valentine's day. We don't really celebrate. I told FH in the beginning that I should be showered with gifts and flowers all year long, not just on one night He likes to be romantic though.
