Buying tons of candles and dh is making a romantic dinner at home.
Two years ago this Valentine's day is when DH proposed so it is special to us but we don't like the commericalism of it, with resturants raising prices for that night as well as florists so we will make it our own special nice for less then 1/2 the price at home and save the rest of the money for a cruise hopefully in March!

We're going to Florida. Jerry is a big NASCAR fan so I got him tickets to the Daytona 500 weekend for Christmas. During the day, were going to one of the races and then he made reservations at a restaurant for dinner but won't tell me which one. It should be a fun and romantic weekend.

We are going out to dinner at Tavern on the Green in the city. Then to the top of the empire state building.

I was thinking about maybe packing a picnic dinner, and eating it at our house that is not finsihed being built. We don't have heat or electricity, but it is insulated and the sheetrock is up.
