Vanderbilt Pictures

As promised I have uploaded a few pictures from my wedding. Just go to the community section, photo albums and look up my username, bonnybride. Keep in mind these are not the professional photographs although I'm pretty happy with them already.

Such nice pictures. I see you did your wedding inside the consevertory. Was it hot? I want to take pics in there but they told me it gets so hot. The pic of you holding the flowergirls is so cute.

Normally, the conservatory is very hot, but my wedding day was very chilly and windy. With the windows opened, the conservatory was perfectly cool and comfortable that day, and it was sunny so the sunlight coming in was great for the photographs. I originally wanted to have the ceremony outside in the courtyard where the fountain is, but it was just too cold and windy that day. You can change your mind at the last minute to move it indoors or outdoors. I didn't decide until I got to the Vanderbilt that morning. I took a lot of pictures in the conservatory after the ceremony. They were beautiful!

I love your tiara - where did you get it from?

Also where did you rents the tuxs from - what type of tux did you rent - they look great on the guys

I got my tiara custom made from Fenaroli for Regalia in NYC. Beautiful stuff. Check out their website, it's www.fenaroli.com. Mine was called Lumina except they set it on a different, bigger frame for me. If you really like mine, I'm planning on selling it. Let me know.

The guys' suits did look great on everyone! I was a little skeptical at first in the tux shop, but I just went with what the sales guy said. The suits are called morning suits, typically worn for a day wedding. I rented them from Balwin Formals in the city.

unfortunately the conservatory isn't air conditioned. i looked into the issue because i originally wanted to have a post-reception sort of party in it. maryann advised against it because she said the temperature is variable... i don't think it would be too hot to take a few pics, though, especially if you did it later in the afternoon/evening.
