I am meeting with Variety Music DJ's tonight....any tips for me? This is the first DJ I am meeting with. I have not heard them live but I have seen great reviews about Ray. Are they negotiable with prices?? Any tips would help!

Re: Variety Music DJ??
yes definitely Ray really worked with us on price and gave us alot for our teeny tiny budget. it was the only vendor i booked on the spot.

Re: Variety Music DJ??
i used them for my wedding and they were seriously my favorite vendor! they were so nice and professional and all my guests were dancing the whole day (which is kinda rare for a daytime wedding).
best thing was the price ... they gave me so many things (DJ, MC, package of the 2 plasma TVs, zap shots, percussionist, and steel drummer for CH) at a really good price (i'm having a stupid moment right now and can't remember what i paid ... but i remember it was a lot lower than what i was expecting to pay)

Good to hear! I think I really like them and I am going to get a few more price quotes and then talk to Ray in person to see how the energy is there. They might be the DJ of choice!

Re: Variety Music DJ??
I met with about 7 DJ companies and we booked with Variety. They weren't the absolute cheapest but by far the most willing to work with our budget and Ray was sweet and down to earth and didn't treat us like we were just $ signs.
