I have an ivory gown and has been offered by two different people to borrow their veil. However, both veils are diamond white. Do you ladies think the colors would be off?

they will probably be to light to go with your dress. Could you take them to the store where you got your dress and try them on with the sample?

The problem with that is, they both haven't gotten married yet. One is in May and the other is 2 weeks before my wedding in July. My dress is discontinued so it's not even in the stores anymore. I think I'm going to just pass on the offer and get an ivory one to be on the safe side. Thanks for your help.

I think it will be off. My dress is ivory and when I had it on I tried on a white veil and it TOTALLY didn't go. I say buy an ivory one because you don't want it to clash with your once in a lifetime dress!

I agree... you need an ivory veil. when I tried white it looked really bad.

sorry, but I think thats definitely a no-go.
I'm going to have the same problem - wish I could just die the veils ppl are offering me! I dont know how many ppl do this - but a friend of mine got married and bought her veil at the tri-county flee market. she said there was a boothe there and she told the guy exactly what she wanted and he did it for her for like 70 bucks! it looked beautiful. .. might end up doing the same thing.
