How much is too much to spend on a veil. I definately don't wantto chince when it comes to DOF clothing, however I think it is crazy to spend $1,200 for a veil that I will only be wearing at church. How much did you/ would you spend on a veil?

Re: Veil
I paid $30 for my mantilla veil online. I agree with you on not spending too much on something you will only be wearing at the church.

Re: Veil
I spent 134 on my veil and I love it but if I could do it over I would have spent a lot less at ebay or etsy.

My veil was $120, my best friend bought it for me as a gift from her son-this way I couldn't say no to it

Re: Veil
I prob would cap myself at $500 for the veil when comparing to the gown budget. However I would def hope to go a lot lower!

Re: Veil
I haven't gotten mine yet but i am hoping to spend no more than $150-200 on mine...i plan on taking it off right after the ceremony ( i didn't even really want to wear one but my mom said i should)....so i dont really wanna spend a lot of money.

Re: Veil
Originally, I wasn't going to spend too much on my veil and headpiece.
But, when I went back to my bridal salon they found a veil & headpiece that matched beautifully with my dress and I just had to get it. With the dress, veil, and headpiece on all at once ...it was gorgeous!
They both were $300 each...much much more than I expected to pay!!

Re: Veil
my will be no more then $150. its goes a little past my waste & will be customized to match the beading on my dress. i am only going to keep it on at church & then a few pictures so i don't want to go overboard.

Re: Veil
woah baby... they are definately trying to rob me!!!!! do your veils have any designs on them because the prices you all are telling me a very reasonable. Also, how much are you planning/ already spent on your headpeice?? Because I've seen crystal ones that go for $600-700- I'm def not paying that so I'd like to know the average price.

Re: Veil
I'm not getting a headpiece since I have a mantilla veil. My veil does not have any beads or crystals on it; I'm going to add those myself. If you shop around you will find some reasonable prices for a headpiece.

My veil does have pearl beading that goes around the bottom of it. It's also elbow length (nothing to long, without blusher). I am not sure if I will get a head piece or just get a something really cute to put in my hair.
Check out www.haircomesthebride.com. They have decently priced veils, jewelry, and hair combs.
