Veil Alterations?

Hello, this question is for a friend of mine who has yet to discover this brilliant site. She has a cathedral length veil from her mother that she wants to use but wants it shortened and maybe what they take off to be put onto a headpiece of some sort for the reception. The place she got her dress 'doesn't do work on family heirlooms' so she's looking for places to go and get it done. Any ideas will help, I'm sure getting her an answer will be enough motivation to get her a** on here herself, lol. Thanks!!

Veil Alterations? - Long Island Weddings

I got my veil at barron's in tri county and they custom make all of their veils, so maybe they would be willing to alter it for her idk... It's a husband/wife duo and they are really nice people, so I'm sure they would work something out with her
