After the pleads from my Dad, FH and Pastor, I have *sigh* decided to wear a blusher. So, I want the LEAST blusherish blusher possible.
A couple questions for the pros out there:
1. Since my veil is Chiffon, can I go w/a very sheer blusher, even sheerer than the Chiffon?
2. My veil is underneath my updo. How do I have a blusher added? Where would it stay?

Liz, you can get a small comb that will tuck right under or right above your updo, whatever you are more comfortable with. Maybe you can get a silk blusher, they are very very light and thin and would compliment the chiffon. Silk can be expensive, but just for the blusher it wouldn't be bad at all!

You can't really see mine because it is dark, but it was super sheer. Hopefully you can see somewhat in this shot. It was attached by a small piece of velcro the size of my pinky nail. I loved having one.
There are sheer fabrics like 0705..posted. You can either attach it with velcro to your veil comb or as mentioned have a small comb in the front that won't mess up your hair and remove it after the ceremony.LOL

i thought you were wearing shamma's headpiece-(i was just double checking)-and i know what it looks like so don't go crazy looking for a pic!(it's beautiful!:) .....i am having mine attached to my veil w/velcro....hhhmmmm-i am trying to think of a way to attach it for you---will a comb mess up your hairdo when u pull it out?

2003, thanks, I think a comb should be OK, as long as my Dad is gentle, dont you think? Maybe he'll just gently push it back, then before I go down the recessional, my MOH can remove it gently for me? What do you think?
I'm having loose spiral curls in an updo, and I want the veil underneath it (like lisat's)

Liz thanks for posting this. I want a do similar to what you are looking to do but I want curls coming down my back. I always wanted the blusher. The whole tradition-my dad pulling it over and giving me a kiss thing ...

that is the exact hairdo i want!! i love those pics--you've got great taste! i am vearing a tiar and my veil will be infront of that hairdo.......do you mind that your hair will be showing inbetween the veil and blusher?

lol, you can barely see my face.. its such a dark pic. But I wore my hair like that (just less hair) look in profile pic.
My blusher was under my curls were my comb was for my veil

I wore a blusher also, and my veil was attached in the back of my head also. I had a two-tier fingertip veil. All I did was pull one tier over my head, and *poof* instant blusher! It was long enough that even over my hair it still fell to about my elbows.
