veil and tiara at Barron's

Hi Gals,

Well i ordered my veil and tiara today at Barrons.
I really like my tiara, but my veil i'm still not sure about. the 2 together came to $350.
*First of all is that a lot of $$?

The veil is really nice- my mom liked it. out of all the ones we saw at barrons it was the one i liked the best. BUT, i still feel unsure about it.
i felt the same way when we ordered my dress and my weddding band. All 3 of these things were really nice and i liked them, but i don't LOVE them and that's what i want to feel. it's what i thought i'd feel but i don't.
Maybe when they come in and it's my size and fits the way it's supposed to i'll feel differently.
I think it also bothers me that i can't see how the veil and the dress look together. I'm afraid that it won't look right to me. even though i brought the pic of my dress to barrons, i want to be able to try them on together now.
Sorry if this is too long- i just wanted to see if others feel the way i do.

I got my viel from barrons and thought it was pricey as well BUT the viel that I loved was about double so that is why I went with it.
The tiaras at barrons were also too expensive for me. I went to my local flea market in sayville and bought mine there. They were just as beautiful and cheaper.
I would wait and try your items with your dress. You may feel better once everything is all together.

I thought barrons was very reasonable. Bridal Ref wanted $350 for a veil and I got exactly the same thing at barrons for $65. It is very simple -- one layer, angel cut with rolled ribbon edge (no crystals). I also got a crystal comb for $50 which was $200 at BR.

You maybe able to get it cheaper, but Barrons has come highly recommended by manys an has a very good reputation for quality and price.

When you compare the veils and tiaras to ones in bridal salons, you'll see that Barron's is very reasonable. Plus they are truly custom made.

ITA, My veil was very inexpensive and the quality was really good. I saved myself about 400 bucks!

my veil is 2 layers, fingertip in white.
there is crystals/beading along the edges which are scalloped just like my dress.

i got my veil at barrons....i felt the same way about not seeing it with my dress (i bought a pic and swatch) but my friend that was with me said, dont worry this is what they do for a living, they know! so im putting my faith in that i dont think its expensive compared to what you would see in a bridal store - mine was more than i expected, but it had beading all around the edge so i guess thats why.

My veil is the same. Maybe you had a very expensive tiara? I bought a headpiece which was about $89, I think. In total I paid $220, though. They discounted my veil, not my headpiece.

Dont ask me ... I fell in love with an Edward Berger tiara and paid like 300 for it but I got my veil from barrons and paid 140 although its got a lot of diamonds and pearls on it and its two tier
