Since I am changing into second dress for reception...do I walk in with veil on or off? I bought a cheap second one for 15 bucks that is plain for this reason...if I don't wear it no loss, wear for TTD and can sell...just wondering..for first dance and all....

Re: veil at reception?
I'm wearing mine through the first dance. After that I plan to take it off. I think its nice to have it on through then, imo

Re: veil at reception?
I am not going to wear it for the reception at all. I am envisioning that way for some reason, plus, we are dancing a couple of different songs and I want to feel free!

Re: veil at reception?
I have a very long cathedral veil... so I am planning on wearing it for the ceremony only. I don't even know if I'd be able to dance with it on??

I took mine off. I was annoyed with it after pics, and it was just a shoulder length. You'll see how you feel that day.

Me too. This is the only time in my life I get to wear a veil so I may wear it all night. I'm planning on getting fingertip length.

Re: veil at reception?
I spoke to a married friend..she said she didn't take it off and regretted it because her hair was up and had all these details in back. I have hair comb in back so I think first dance and that's it. I know it will annoy me lol

Re: veil at reception?
I'm not wearing a veil at all, but my friend who just got married had a shoulder-length one and wore it the entire night and it worked out just fine!
